The solution is available for Windows systems, it is simple to install and setup and once the initial backup is complete, subsequent backups take very little time. Using your existing Internet connection, your backup data is compressed and encrypted before being transmitted to our servers in a secure data centre. This data is subsequently replicated to a second site.

Backups are handled by an agent application which is truly 'set it and forget it'. It works for you in the background, and at a pre determined time will check the selected folders for any changes and upload this changed data to the SafeFile backup servers. An email is generated after each task notifying you that the task has completed and of any errors.

You can manage your account from any internet enabled computer so long as you have your username, password and encryption key to hand. Through the online management console, you can restore individual files or all files at the click of a button, check on the account usage, and create further accounts along with many other features.

For added peace pf mind, you are also protected by up to £1,000,000.00 insurance. In the event your data cannot be restored you are covered for any losses arising from any negligence by Sterling SafaFile.
